Handwoven Sarees from Across India
Nari in a Sari is more than just a boutique—it's a movement, a celebration, and a love letter to India’s most iconic garment: the sari.
Born out of a deep personal passion, Nari in a Sari was founded to revive the everyday grace of handwoven sarees and reconnect modern women with the roots of India’s rich textile heritage. From biking to shopping, and even running marathons—all in a sari—our founder embodies the spirit of what it means to live freely, confidently, and joyfully in six yards of elegance.
When we moved to Chandigarh, we saw a gap—saris were slowly being pushed into the corners of wardrobes, reserved only for weddings and formal events. Young women weren’t connecting with the sari as a daily garment. That’s when the idea struck: to create a space that not only showcased the sari’s practical beauty but also rekindled its rightful place in everyday life.
We travel across India to connect with skilled weavers and artisan clusters. Each piece is handpicked for its authenticity, craftsmanship, and cultural richness.
We work directly with weavers—no middlemen involved. This ensures fair pricing, ethical practices, and deep respect for traditional techniques.
Our team curates sarees that reflect regional diversity—from Ikat to Chanderi, from Kanjivaram to Jamdani—offering a blend of heritage and style.
